Recreation at this deep eye-blue alpine lake of Hovsgol is as good as it gets – motor boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, bird watching, hiking, shamanism, last remnants of reindeer herders and much more. Day 1 - Arrival
 Upon arrival at the Buyant Ukhaa Airport in Ulaanbaatar, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in downtown. After check in, unwind yourself in the hotel after jetlag. We will enjoy an impressive performance of traditional music and dance at 6 pm. The spectacular sounds of höömii (throat singing) accompanied by the cherished two-string horse-headed fiddle or morin khuur will be imprinted on your memory forever. Welcome Dinner will be in one of the best restaurants in the city. Day 2 - Muren, Hovsgol Lake
Today we will fly to Muren - the capital of the northwestern province of Hovsgol. The flight takes 1 hour 20 minutes. Upon arrival our local driver will meet us at the airport and we will take a 4-hour driving to the western shore of the spectacular Hovsgol Lake. After arrival we will discover the surrounding area hiking. Day 3 & 4 - Hovsgol Lake
We will stay 2 full days at the lake discovering its breathtaking beauty. The Lake Hovsgol is one of the most scenic spots in Mongolia. This gorgeous alpine lake is surrounded by high mountains, meadows and forests, a complete contrast to the rest of Mongolia. Amazing 90 rivers and streams flow into the lake, but only a single river flows out - the Egiin Gol, which ultimately reaches the Lake Baikal in Siberia. Plenty of interesting activities available in the Hovsgol Nuur National Park for your choice, excellent fishing, swimming, hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, visiting reindeer herders, discovering the surrounding forest, boating, etc. Day 5 - Muren - Ulaanbaatar
Today we will drive back to Muren, to catch a flight to Ulaanbaatar with en route visit to Uushigiin Ovor, to Deer Steles date back to 3000 years ago. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar our driver will pick us up and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner will be in a local restaurant.  Day 6 - Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast we will start sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar including the Mongolia's biggest Monastery Gandantegchilin, Winter Palace Museum of Bogd Khan, the Zaisan Memorial that offers the best panorama of the capital city, The Museum of Natural History with a rich collection of dinosaur bones, skeletons and eggs found in the Gobi desert, International Intellectual museum with amazing Mongolian puzzle toys.
